138 East 50th ST

Contemporary Design

138 East 50 Street, New York, NY has been designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli, the prestigious international design architect with more than three decades of sustainable architecture and design experience. Pelli Clark Pelli is one of the most decorated architectural firms in the world, having won the American Institute of Architects’ Firm Award, the highest honor for an architectural practice and the Gold Award, the highest individual honor (given to Cesar Pelli). Inspired by both the historic charm of many neighboring buildings and the modern flare that has come to define contemporary Manhattan architecture, Pelli Clark Pelli has designed a structure that will be a fixture in the New York skyline for decades to come. The 71-story, all-glass, high-rise tower will feature multiple front setbacks and a unique, geometric design on the lower five floors, which will accentuate the dramatic retail, lobby, and amenity space. The residential tower will consist of 124 residential units, with an average floor plan of 1,456 SF. Units will be well-appointed with modern finishes, high-end materials, and breathtaking views. Because of the large podium below, residential floors begin at a typical 11th floor.

This project is co-developed by SMI USA and Ceruzzi Properties.
